You might as well row that boat

NEW ALBUM DROP: chillin me softly

It’s with great pride that I announce the release of Lionel Rizzi’s sophomore album ‘chillin me softly.’  In his second full-length release the sax master explores the darker side of things.   It’s at times ethereal, funky and always soulful.  With strong hints of eroticism and emotional angst sprinkled through each track, it’s the kind of album you will find yourself praying for a rainy Sunday to curl up and listen.

Tracks like Chestnut Park and Coyote’s Trail Mix are musical walkabouts that will have you bobbing your head and furrowing your brow.  Classic, upbeat hip-hop hooks will have you smiling and remembering the awkward years.  And sultry tracks Skylark Interbang and Spanish Platinum provide the perfect soundtrack for those hopefully non-awkward moments.
The album does not have the pure pop of ‘warm thoughts.’  However, Lionel continues to show why he has topped the charts and our hearts since the beginning.
